Her work has graced the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and lent her design finesse to the National Film and Television School, UK.
Megha's artistic pursuits encompass being a costume designer for institutions like the National School of Drama in New Delhi and Quasar Theatre Production in Mumbai. Over the past eight years, she has curated immersive experiences with "Crow" for renowned brands like Zoya, BMW, and HSBC. Beyond this, she also spearheads her clothing brand, "MKRL." Her multi-faceted journey highlights her role as both a visionary creator and an inspiring educator.

Devika Sharma Pathak

With an extensive 8-year background, Aditya has honed the skill of capturing beauty, emotions, and distinctive perspectives through his camera lens. Beyond his professional photography pursuits, Aditya has embraced education, sharing his wisdom and proficiency with aspiring photographers and stylists. Boasting over four years of teaching involvement, he has mentored and motivated numerous students, nurturing their artistic voices and technical dexterity. Aditya Mittal's curiosity extends into the realm of technology, as he consistently integrates the latest advancements into his work, pushing artistic boundaries and experimenting with novel techniques to craft visually arresting imagery.
Aditya's work has gained widespread recognition in renowned Indian newspapers and magazines, a testament to his aptitude for encapsulating the essence of fashion and advertising campaigns. Khampui Thaimei
Associate Professor
Khampui Thaimei, an esteemed assistant professor, is a stalwart with 21 years of experience in the fashion field. Hailing from the Fashion and Celebrity Make-up and Hairstyle domain at the School of Fashion, Khampui's expertise is a cornerstone of the department.
She has specialised training from renowned institutions, including Pivot Point India, L’Oreal, Wella, Balmain Paris, and B-Gorgeous. She embarked on her professional voyage as a skilled hairstylist and swiftly ascended to the educator role at International Beauty Academy Delhi (IBA). Subsequently, she held positions as Head of the Department for hair and external examiner at Shahnaz Hussain’s beauty academy. Her journey continued as a senior hair educator and creative hairstylist at Lambency Chrysalis Academy before culminating at Pearl Academy, where she currently contributes as a hairstylist faculty and Course Curriculum Developer.
Khampui's career extends to conducting seminars across diverse platforms. Her creative touch is evident in various photoshoots and fashion shoots, where she imparts her expertise. With a passion for education, she facilitates students in mastering the intricacies of hair, beauty, and makeup, fostering hands-on learning and in-depth comprehension. Sukhmeet Singh
Associate Professor
Sukhmeet Singh, fondly known as Mickey, is a stalwart with 15 years of immersive experience in the Fashion, Hair, and Makeup industry. A Design and Arts Collage graduate in Christchurch, New Zealand, he embarked on his journey with a diploma in Fashion design. His global exposure began as he contributed his talents in New Zealand before returning to India.
In the heart of New Delhi, Mickey's prowess flourished during his 5-year tenure at MAC Cosmetics, where he honed his craft, became intimately involved in backstage events, and conducted numerous master classes. With credits as a makeup artist in films, his creative scope transcends mediums.
Mickey's dynamic contributions extend to the runway, as showcased by his participation in the FCID Fashion Show 2022. His multifaceted expertise and global journey affirm his position as a respected and accomplished figure in fashion, hair, and makeup.

Payal Mohanty
Department Lead
Payal Mohanty, a visionary leader and associate professor, holds the helm as the department lead in the dynamic field of Fashion. With a wealth of experience encompassing 11 years, Payal's journey is a tapestry of design innovation and industry acumen.
Her academic foundation began with an undergraduate degree in Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories Design from the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology, followed by a master's degree in Fashion Retail Management from the illustrious London College of Fashion.
Payal's impactful presence has reverberated across diverse spheres of the fashion landscape. As a marketing professional at NYKAA Fashion, she played an instrumental role in elevating the brand's growth and identity. Within Myntra's creative direction team, her contributions underscored her versatility and creative prowess. Payal's passion extended to interior styling and design, where she partnered with distinguished brands such as Fusion Access, Ishatvam, and Portico, refining her skills as an interior stylist and accessory designer.
Her mastery encompasses design research, visualisation, creative direction, branding, and styling. Payal's zest for DIY projects, photography, travel, and artefact collection vividly portrays her vibrant personality. As a luminary in the design and fashion industry, her journey exemplifies a harmonious blend of innovation, creativity, and leadership.

Henna Parimoo
Department Lead
Henna Parimoo, presently the Department Lead & Assistant Professor at Pearl Academy, boasts an impressive decade-plus career in fashion styling and creative consulting across the UK and India. Her artistic perspective melds fashion, cultural history, and photography yielding a unique fusion of disciplines. Adept in styling and creative direction, Henna's portfolio spans editorial spreads, film/TV, commercials, brand campaigns, e-commerce, art films, fashion shows, exhibitions, and performance arts.
Her artistic philosophy revolves around storytelling, where fashion and styling articulate ideas and visuals. She not only captures but also shapes current trends. A London College of Fashion graduate, Henna draws inspiration from diverse sources, including fashion art, music, subcultures, and theatre. This eclectic blend fuels her ability to craft captivating visuals, underscoring her vital role in fashion education and design.

Hiral Pandhi
Associate Professor
Hiral Pandhi, a faculty with Pearl Academy, is a Mumbai-based fashion stylist and wardrobe consultant driven by a passion for culture, social impact, and visual storytelling. With six years of styling experience and a keen grasp of brand identity, she has contributed to diverse and impactful projects. Catering to over 20 personal styling clients, Hiral possesses in-depth expertise in the field. Her fusion of fashion and social responsibility empowers individuals through style, fostering self-love and confidence.
Her industry journey encompasses celebrity styling, creative direction, commercial and film styling, and TV commercials. As a former student turned tutor at Pearl Academy, Hiral takes pride in sharing her knowledge and experiences with the next generation. A visionary project award recipient featured in the Bombay Times during her college years, Hiral holds a degree in fashion styling-image design from Nottingham Trent University, which has propelled her career.

Shalini Gupta
Associate Dean
Professor Shalini Gupta, the Associate Dean of Styling and Beauty at Pearl Academy, India, is a distinguished academic and fashion industry expert. With 23 years of experience, she made her mark in designing and styling for magazines, television, and celebrities.
Armed with a Bachelor of Design from the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi and a Master's degree in Fashion and Textiles, she profoundly understands the fashion realm.
Shalini's professional journey commenced as the Co-founder and Head of Design at 'What's Pink,' a renowned fashion accessories label that achieved immense success in India, Europe, and the Middle East from 2000 to 2015.
In 2014, Shalini transitioned her focus to academia, joining Pearl Academy. She actively engages in subjects related to image and identity, visual literacy, and innovative creative practice. Her research endeavours delve into embedding sustainable thinking into design curricula, exploring fashion as a form of activism and identity expression, and studying the relationship between age and fashion.
Shalini's contributions extend beyond the classroom. She served as the principal investigator for a British Council-funded project, collaborating with Manchester Metropolitan University to co-create value for Indian craft products within digital social platforms.
