Course Overview
The Master of Design (M. This curriculum is designed to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and industry-ready practical skills, preparing them to create immersive and interactive experiences across various platforms. By integrating aspects of storytelling, user experience, and technical development, the program aims to produce versatile designers capable of innovating within the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
The demand for professionals skilled in Game Design and XR is on the rise, driven by significant growth in the gaming industry and the expanding application of XR technologies across multiple sectors. The global gaming market has experienced unprecedented growth, with revenues surpassing $200 Billion in recent years. The Indian market alone is estimated to be $3.5 Billion with a growth rate of 16.5% per Anum. This surge has escalated the demand for skilled game designers capable of creating engaging content. Simultaneously, XR technologies are increasingly utilized across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and entertainment. Professionals adept in XR design and development are essential to meet this growing need. Consequently, graduates of this program are well-positioned to enter a dynamic job market with opportunities in game development, XR content creation, instructional design, and software engineering.
The program's emphasis on industry collaboration with partnerships with top companies like Tech Mahindra ensures that students gain hands-on experience with the latest tools and platforms, aligning their skills with current market needs. This practical approach, combined with a focus on innovation and ethical considerations, prepares graduates to contribute meaningfully to the future of digital media and interactive design.
